Meet Dr. Erhart

Dr. Erhart is a licensed specialist in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, and his practice is limited to orthodontics for children, adolescents, and adults. Dr. Erhart completed his undergraduate studies at Marquette University in Wisconsin, receiving a bachelor of science degree with a major in Biology. Deciding to pursue a career in Dentistry, Dr. Erhart attended Northwestern University in Chicago, and received his Doctorate in Dental Surgery in 1989. While at Northwestern he was awarded the certificate of merit from the Academy of Oral Medicine for achievement, proficiency, and promise in the field of Oral Medicine. Following graduation, Dr. Erhart decided to continue with additional postdoctoral hospital-based training, and was accepted at the University of Chicago where he completed a one-year hospital residency in 1990. It was at that time that Dr. Erhart chose to pursue specialty training in orthodontics. He was accepted at the University of Missouri and completed a 2 and a half year graduate residency in orthodontics, receiving his specialty certificate in orthodontics in December of 1992.

Born and raised in the nearby suburbs of Chicago, Dr. Erhart decided to return home to begin private practice. He opened his practice in Naperville in 1993, at the north end of town and moved to his current location in 2003.

Dr. Erhart is an active member in the American Association of Orthodontists, the Illinois Society of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Illinois State Dental Society, and the Chicago Dental Society.

Fortunately, we have been successful in doing so and our assistants average 5 years working together with Dr. Erhart. Their experience in the dental field spans from 3 years to over 10 years, and they absolutely love what they do!
